How deep does the pole need to be buried?

Our standard pole needs to be buried 10 inches into the ground, our frost point extender needs to be buried 28 inches into the ground.

What is the frost point extender?

The frost point extender is for our bird enthusiasts in colder climates. The ground freezes over in the wintertime which can affect the stability of the pole, so it needs to be dug deeper in order to have contact with fresh dirt.

Can you fill the bottom pole with dirt or concrete?

Yes, its recommended that you fill the bottom pole with dirt, for sturdier results you can fill it with concrete/quikrete.  

How tall is the pole after installation?

The standard pole will stand approximately 80” inches whereas our frost point extender pole will stand approximately 90” inches.

What is the pole made of?

The pole is made with extremely durable PVC.  

Can you paint the pole?

No, do not paint the pole. Paint allows squirrels to climb the pole.  

How much weight can each arm hold?

Each arm can hold approximately 10lb.

Do I need any replacement parts?

No, unlike typical metal poles which rust over time, our poles are weather resistant and will hang in there for the long haul.

Where can I install my pole?

You can install the pole anywhere so long as it is away from fences, trees, and walls.

What else can I hang from my pole?

Our poles are very versatile, you can hang small flower pots, ornaments, wind chimes, bird baths, and much more.
